The ILSB is committed to guaranteeing the full protection and exercise of sexual and reproductive rights. To support this mission, we joined 39 other civil society organizations to create the Artículo 3° collective, which is committed to fighting against regressive proposals from conservative, anti-rights groups that seek to roll back the progress made to date to ensure access to comprehensive sexuality education (CSE). This collective is committed to defending and supporting the right to access CSE that is grounded in a human rights and substantive equality approach in order to ensure access to evidence-based and secular information that supports decision-making processes, helps prevent abuse, and decreases rates of unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. The ILSB-supported youth networks have been critical to stopping regressive initiatives and defending sexual and reproductive rights in their states.
